Three considered paths, chosen with you
Every service begins with an honest look, so the path we suggest is the one your watch actually needs.
Back to HomeOur Approach
A methodology built on observation
Rather than beginning with a fixed price list, we begin by looking. Every watch that arrives is opened with care, its movement and case assessed on their own terms, and only then do we recommend one of the three paths below. This keeps the decision with you, informed by what we actually find rather than a guess made from the outside.
Quick Care Check
A brief, attentive check for watches that have started to behave differently. We look over the movement or battery, clean the case, and check the seals, then let you know in plain terms what your watch needs — a gentle first step for owners who are unsure.
- Movement or battery reviewed
- Case cleaned, seals checked
- Plain-language summary provided
- Drop-off and short intake conversation
- Bench review of movement and case
- Findings shared, next steps discussed
Considered Service
A fuller service for watches worn regularly and due for attention. We clean and lubricate the movement, regulate the timing, tend to worn gaskets, and observe the watch on the bench before returning it. Suited to daily companions that have lost a little steadiness.
- Movement cleaned and lubricated
- Timing regulated
- Gaskets tended, case resealed
- Bench observation before return
- Intake review and condition discussion
- Full movement clean and lubrication
- Timing regulation and gasket care
- Bench settling period and final check
Full Study Overhaul
A complete, unrushed overhaul for pieces that ask for deeper care or carry added complications. Work includes full disassembly, cleaning, sensible part renewal, resealing, and an extended settling period. Recommended for long-owned and complicated watches you intend to keep for many years.
- Full disassembly and deep cleaning
- Sensible part renewal where needed
- Complete resealing
- Extended settling and stage-by-stage explanation
- Detailed intake and complication review
- Full disassembly and part-by-part cleaning
- Renewal, reassembly, and resealing
- Extended settling period with bench monitoring
- Final review and return only once running calmly
